See discussion under West Flisk, above. On OS 6 inch 1st edn (1855), OS Pathf. Wester Flisk does not appear as such, but is represented by a cluster of buildings labelled ‘Manse’, ‘Site of Church’ (the word ‘Church’ in Gothic script), ‘Church’ and ‘Graveyard’. It was still called ‘Manse’ etc. on the OS 1:2500 2nd revision map (1906 × 1939) and acquired the name Wester Flisk later in the twentieth century.
