‘Monastic farm’. The monastery in question was Dunfermline Abbey. The lands of Grange once occupied much of the lowland arable land of Burntisland, and OS Pathf. Grange House, which supplies the above NGR, is more accurately Over Grange (of Wester Kinghorn). Over Grange may formerly have been called Kilmundy q.v.
