The earlier division of the lands of Pitkinny was into Little Pitkinny and Pitkinny (see Pitkinny below). South Pitkinny (South Pickinny 1775 Ainslie/Fife, South Pitkinnie 1828 SGF, South Pitkinny 1899 OS 1 inch 2nd edn.) which lay south-west of North Pitkinny, c.NT195966, on the south side of the road referred to on OS Pathf. as Torres Loan, has disappeared without trace from the OS Pathf.
